AT&T Expands Cell Coverage in Chantilly!
Great news for local Chantilly residents and businesses – AT&T has activated a new 4G mobile Internet cell site in Chantilly along Loudoun County Parkway near Route 50 that will enhance coverage throughout the area. More people in Chantilly will have access to the national’s largest 4G network, whether they are at work, picking up groceries or standing in long lines to vote tomorrow!
“Demand for wireless speed is growing rapidly, and we are excited to continue supporting Chantilly residents and businesses with our super-fast speeds to residents and businesses,” said Vince Apruzzese, regional vice president for AT&T-Virginia. “Being connected is becoming increasingly important, and we’re working hard to make sure our customers can keep up with the speed of modern life, at work or play.”
AT&T customers have access to the nation’s largest 4G network, covering 275 million people and now 3,000 more 4G cities and towns than Verizon. The 4G expansion is part of AT&T’s continuing network investment to support the growing demand for mobile devices, apps and faster mobile Internet speeds. AT&T has invested over $140 million in its Virginia wireless and wired networks in 2012 thus far.
