24950 Riding Center Dr, Chantilly (Dulles South Multipurpose Center)  on Saturday, Sept. 10 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Why Go? 
This community yard sale not only brings together families (200+) with their treasures to sell, but nearly 100 local businesses will also be on hand to explain what they do and how they can serve you.

Super Science Saturday
Where/When?
Udvar-Hazy Science Center on Saturday, Sept. 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Why Go?
This Super Science Saturday will focus on living and working in space. Hands-on activities, experts to answer questions, demonstrations and much more make this event a must-see for young scientists and anyone interested in space.
Pricing?
Admission is free; parking is $15

Rescheduled for 9/24 - - Fig Lovers Festival
Where/When?
Ticonderoga Farms on Saturday, Sept. 10 from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Why Go?
Figs, of all varieties, will be the stars of this “foodie” festival. Fig tastings, fig/cheese/wine pairings, fig recipes to sample and a hay ride to the fig orchard. Plus every guest receives one pound of figs to enjoy at home.
Pricing?
$35 per person

CANCELLED - Sully Quilt Show and Sale
Where/When?
Sully Historic Site on Sunday, Sept. 11 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Why Go? 
Admire the hundreds of quilts displayed (some available for purchase), take part in demonstrations, purchase fabric and supplies and learn more from expert talks on quilt design, textile preservation and more at the largest outdoor quilt show on the East Coast. 
Pricing?
$9 adults, $8 seniors, $6 children

9/11 Memorial Ceremony – Patriot Day   5:30 p.m. at Westfield High School
