Applebee’s Restaurant, Chantilly (0ff Westfield’s Blvd)
This is a fundraiser to benefit Stuart Gray & his family.
On April 16, 2012, Stuart Gray had emergency major surgery for a ruptured aneurysm in his heart, a hole in his heart and a torn aorta. In the surgery, the surgeon had to replace both his aorta and valve with an artificial one.
He is 29 years old, married and the father of a nearly-4 year old. He has also been diagnosed with Polycystic kidney disease. It is a kidney disorder passed down through families in which many cysts form in the kidneys, causing them to become enlarged. Stuart most likely will require a kidney transplant at some time in the future.
Funds raised will be used for living expenses including, but are not limited to: rent, utilities, child care. Also medical expenses not covered by insurance to include, but not limited to: doctor and hospital bills, nursing care, Rx co-pays, medical supplies / equipment needed but not covered by insurance.
Dine between 11 AM and Midnight and order whatever food you would regularly purchase. There is no price mark-up. Applebees has generously agreed to donate a portion of the proceeds to the Gray Family.
Flyer must be presented to server for donation to count. See Facebook event to download flyer.
Thank you so much for joining us.

More About Applebee's
Applebee's touts itself as being the largest casual dining chain in the world. The company has been around since 1980. As you walk into this restaurant, you notice that the walls are covered with Americana memorabilia. There are celebrity photos, records, musical instruments, sports equipment and more. Don't have time to sit down? Check out the curbside to-go option. The menu is large and mostly American fare. One impressive offer is 2-for-$20 dishes, a special that consists of an appetizer plus the two entrees. Applebee's also has a low-calorie section on its menu. Pick-and-pair lunch combos start at $5.99. This bar and grill is a good choice for eating good (and cheap) in the neighborhood.
