I don't like the way we have to access specific articles by fighting my way through a grouping of articles. The little window provided for scrolling through is awkward. You might consider giving a list of the articles and a link to each one. I often give up and leave the site in frustration. I don't want to see news from all over the country. I read Reston.patch for Reston news. I don't understand why you call week-old news "breaking news" - some of it really old. Some of your groupings of articles show an article about a tragedy, followed by something weird or funny. Not suggesting that you have a special section about tragedies, but at least respect them by better placement.

If someone is only looking for Reston news, maybe they shouldn't click on headlines "around the region."

Hi Kay, Thanks for your observations. Sorry to hear you're having to fight your way through the articles. I'm not sure what week-old news article(s) you're referring to. These stories were published on Thursday. The articles are not from all over the country, they are about events taking place in Northern Virginia. Re the "tragic" stories, we did indeed break these up, so as not to inundate readers with tragic news, one right after the other.

Hawa and Mary Ann, I'll be more careful in the future with my comments. I didn't realize that I was in the "around the region" section and my comments were meant to be in general, not specific to one day's articles or section. Thank you for your responses.

Why 3 "articles" on Democrats, only 1 of which might be news?
