Spring is definitely in the (chilly) air; events are happening everywhere.
Banjo Man
Where/When? on Friday, April 1 at 10:30 a.m.
Why Go? Part of the weekly “Tot Rock” series, Frank Cassel plays lively and engaging folk, bluegrass and original music for all audiences. Kids love “the Banjo Man”. (here’s a sample – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GzKyCQsr5mM - very spring-y!)
Pricing? $5 per person, at the door.
Spring Nature Hike
Where/When? Saturday, April 2 at 1:30 p.m.
Why Go? Really? Fresh air, spring, exercise? Take your pick, but let’s get outside! This is a real “hike”, for kids 9 and up.

Where/When? on Saturday, April 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Why Go? This morning event, for middle school students and their parents, is an opportunity to learn and discuss Life in the Middle: What Students and Parents Face in the Middle School Years, with a focus on bullying and cyber-bullying, substance abuse, hot button issues and communications between youth and their parents.
The Unified Prevention Coalition is a joint effort of all the FCPS programs that work to prevent drug abuse, alcohol abuse and violence.
Pricing? $10 per family

Why Go? You and your child can work on a lace egg decoration, a Victorian tradition, at the lovely Sully Historic Site.
