Arts in the Park welcomes Rocknoceros to the stage for a fun, family Saturday morning.

The crowds started to gather early on Saturday morning for at .  The park was prepared with staff directing traffic and opening additional parking areas.  According to park staff, the crowd started arriving at 9 a.m. for the 10 a.m. show.

Rocknoceros, made up of Coach Cotton,  Williebob and Boogie Woogie Bennie, began the show with an audience request, and they took requests several times throughout the set.  The crowd continued to grow as the music played.  Kids moved to the front of the crowd to be near the stage and dance, while parents participated in the songs from the seats and grass.  The guys played crowd favorites and also a few new songs from their latest album to be released next month. The non-stop action of the set made it seem like they had just started playing when the show came to a close.

The crowd was a mix of repeat attenders and new Rocknoceros fans.  One mom had been invited by the friend.  She had looked Rocknoceros up on-line before coming out and found out they "are very popular!" Another mom said, "We saw them twice last year and bought the CDs.  The songs will make you laugh!"
