Cafe Rio to Open in Chantilly July 25

Cafe Rio will open its 53rd location next weekend on Lee Jackson Memorial Highway.

Cafe Rio Mexican Grill will open a location in Chantilly next weekend.

To celebrate its grand opening of its sixth East Coast location, Café Rio will donate $2,500 to Fairfax County Public Schools and $2,500 to Hope for The Warriors, a charity that helps grant wishes to active-duty military members and veterans.

Once opening, Café Rio will have Military Mondays, in which active service members can receive 25 percent off their purchase. Café Rio will also donate 25 cents for every burrito purchased.

The Chantilly opening will mark the 53rd Cafe Rio location to open. Cafe Rio was recently ranked the number one restaurant in the nation by Sandelman and received the Associates’ 2011 Quick-Track Award for overall customer satisfaction.

The restaurant prides itself on the fresh quality of its food. Each location has no freezers or microwaves. The staff hand-squeezes limes each day, hand-scoops avocados and tortillas are made by hand in front of customers.

The new location in Chantilly will open at 13057 Lee Jackson Memorial Hwy.
