Cafe Rio to Open in Chantilly July 25

Cafe Rio will open its 53rd location next weekend on Lee Jackson Memorial Highway.

Cafe Rio Mexican Grill will open a location in Chantilly next weekend.

To celebrate its grand opening of its sixth East Coast location, Café Rio will donate $2,500 to Fairfax County Public Schools and $2,500 to Hope for The Warriors, a charity that helps grant wishes to active-duty military members and veterans.

Once opening, Café Rio will have Military Mondays, in which active service members can receive 25 percent off their purchase. Café Rio will also donate 25 cents for every burrito purchased.

The Chantilly opening will mark the 53rd Cafe Rio location to open. Cafe Rio was recently ranked the number one restaurant in the nation by Sandelman and received the Associates’ 2011 Quick-Track Award for overall customer satisfaction.

The restaurant prides itself on the fresh quality of its food. Each location has no freezers or microwaves. The staff hand-squeezes limes each day, hand-scoops avocados and tortillas are made by hand in front of customers.

The new location in Chantilly will open at 13057 Lee Jackson Memorial Hwy.

Cafe Rio Mexican Grill, Inc. is headquarted in Salt Lake City, Utah and has been in business in 1997.

Very bad service, I visited the restaurant because a friend told me it was good, but I was very ndisappointed to see how the ladies that help u with the food are not very friendly ... They did not explain the bar of options and I did end up having a not nice conversation with one of the workers... So if they do not have the energy to deal with customers then they should go and work some place else... I do not recommend this place I rather go to chipotle or baba fresh...

I have been a steady customer at the Burke, VA, location and I've always been satisfied with the quality of food and excellent service. The Chantilly location is a very big disappointment. The service is terrible. The servers don't pay attention to the customer and just want you to move on. I'm going back to Burke! A longer drive for me but well worth it. I called the Salt Lake City headquarters to inform them of the poor service in Chantilly and hope the top management will fix the problems there.

I was upset with the one manager by the name of Brenda, she sounded like she was yelling the options of the food to me and it seemed like she didnt know how to treat the employees. She almost wouldnt even give me a side of guac because it didnt come with my burrtio even though i said i would pay extra twice.
