Chantilly National Golf & Country Club Sold to Texas Company

How will this affect your golf game?

Chantilly National Golf & Country Club in Centreville has been sold to a Texas-based company, according to the Dallas Business Journal

The 72-par golf course and its companion country club is now under the ownership of Dallas-based ClubCorp, which owns more than 150 such clubs internationally and in the U.S.

The club was previously member-owned, club staff said. A purchase amount hasn't been published.

ClubCorp is planning an extensive makeover for the facility that's expected to cost in the millions.

The makeover will include upgrades to the tennis courts, pools and clubhouse.

The purchase of the club, located off Braddock Road in Centreville, is the third made by ClubCorp this year, according to the Dallas Business Journal.
