Chantilly Day Is Coming Saturday!

Second annual event takes place at Sully Center on Metrotech Drive.

Are you ready for Chantilly Day? It's all happening Saturday, May 4, at Sully Center, 13910 Metrotech Drive, in the parking lots of Kmart and Babies 'R Us in Chantilly.

The fun gets underway at 9:30 a.m. and continues until 4 p.m. Local restaurants will offer a "Taste of Chantilly" at the festival. The event is sponsored by the Chantilly-Centreville Chamber of Commerce and Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce.

There will be lots to see and do, including finding out about local businesses at the Business Expo, looking for local student artwork on display and enjoying entertainment on the festival main stage. The festival will help raise money for local charities and schools.

Here's a rundown of the festival schedule:

  • 9:30-10 a.m.: Opening ceremonies and presentation of awards to local groups and individuals.
  • 10 a.m.-4 p.m.: Business Expo, Kids Area and Rides
  • 11 a.m.-4 p.m.: Taste of Chantilly
  • 10:15 a.m.-4 p.m.: Stage Entertainment

Shuttle buses will be available from 9:15 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
