Construction to Begin at Arcola Center

Developers are bringing the mixed-use project back to life.

Four years later, Buchanan Partners is ready to break ground at the .  

In 2007, the mixed-use development was planned to be built near the intersection of Route 50 and Loudoun County Parkway, just west of , with residential and retail spaces to include Target, Lowe's, Staples and Dick's Sporting Goods. 

The housing crash forced the developers to put the project on hold, but they are finally ready to start building.  Construction on townhomes is slated to begin this month.
