Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), a component of the Department of Defense that provides defense contract administration services, has outgrown its 36,000-square-foot facility and plans to move to Chantilly in the summer of 2014, said Billy Ray "B.R." Brown, chief of public affairs at DCMA.

There are no layoffs associated with the move; all 300 positions will transfer to the new offices located at 14501 George Carter Way, about 10 miles from the current offices in Blue Ridge Office Park in Manassas.

The new locations was selected through a General Services Administration competitive bid process, Brown said.
