When Do Girl Scout Cookies Go on Sale?

Girl Scouts in Chantilly are already going door to door selling Girl Scout cookies. Girl Scout cookie sales booths open Feb. 22.

If you get an unexpected knock at the door, you may want to answer it: Girl Scouts in Chantilly are going door to door now selling Thin Mints, Tagalongs and other Girl Scout cookies.

Local Girl Scouts were able to sell to friends and family members as early as December, but door-to-door sales did not start until mid-January.

Girl Scouts will be selling cookies at several locations and events throughout Chantilly from Feb. 22 through March 24.

Girl Scout cookies are $4 this year, up from $3.50 per box. Each Girl Scout troop gets to keep 50-cents from every box sold.
