The Duggars are diving into Virginia politics this week. The large family that has chronicled its past few years on the TLC reality show "19 Kids and Counting" will be campaigning for Ken Cuccinelli and E.W. Jackson, the Republican candidates for governor and lieutenant governor.

"The Duggers? That's a perfect example of what families will look like if Ken Cuccinelli gets in and makes birth control illegal!" wrote Patch reader Lisa Clare. "Who can afford that?"

Reader Jody wrote that the Duggars aren't attacking anyone on this trip. "I love their show and suspect the church will be packed," she wrote. "They are a loving, Godly family who have nothing hateful to say about anyone. Abortion is legal and will remain so as long as Roe v. Wade stands."

"BKA" is still more worried about Democratic gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe: "Birth control aside, if Terry McAwful becomes our governor, no one will be able to afford to have kids since the state economy will be in the toilet."
