HomeAid Shelter Project Groundbreaking

HomeAid Northern Virginia, a charity that builds and renovates temporary housing for homeless families and individuals, has brought on K.Hovnanian Homes to serve as Builder Captain for a $1.2Million shelter expansion and renovation to the SERVE Shelter in Manassas.

The sheleter, owned and operated by Northern Virginia Family Service, will allow them to serve up to 30 more homeless families and children and provide the necessary services and enrichment programs these families need to get back on their feet.

HomeAid, along with K.Hovnanian Homes and 20 trade partners is providing siginificant donations of time, labor, and expertise to the project, and the Freddie Mac Foundation has stepped up with a major investment as well.
