WINGS FOR WOUNDED WARRIORS WEEK

Seasons Greetings from Hobby Hangar of Chantilly!

In this special season of giving, Hobby Hangar is leading a volunteer effort to gather models and kits as gifts for our wounded warriors at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center and Fort Belvoir Warrior Transition Unit (WTU).  These gifts will provide both enjoyment and vital therapy for our heroes as they heal and transition back to duty or continue serving the nation as a veteran.

During the week of December 13th, Hobby Hangar will use a portion of all its sales toward purchasing additional kits for the veterans.  This makes it a great time to purchase gifts for that hobby enthusiast on your list while supporting this great cause.

Do you have a helicopter/airplane kit or a car you purchased but never got around to building?  Do you have finished models in new or like-new condition that you don't use anymore? Here's a chance to put them all to good use: Bring them to Hobby Hangar any time between now and December 18th as part of "Wings for Wounded Warriors Week" and we'll deliver them to Walter Reed and Fort Belvoir WTU in time for Christmas!  Small indoor/outdoor airplanes, helicopters, cars, and even simple plastic models of all kinds are welcome.

Come back again on Saturday, December 18th from 11 until 3 for a day of fun with food, raffles and a silent auction.   Hope to see you there!
