Fairfax High Student Starts GoFundMe to Help with Internship

A 20-year-old Fairfax High School graduate is asking for the public’s help in funding her internship in public health.

Mallory Nicola Stevens, a junior at Kent State University, started a GoFundMe page to help with expenses as she studies at the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland.

GoFundMe is similar to the fundraising site Kickstarter, except that participants are raising money for personal causes and life events.
