Experience the Ghosts of Christmas Past at the Sully Historic Site
Take a trip through time with these candlelight tours.
Celebrate Christmas throughout history at the Sully Historic Site in Chantilly next month.
The site will be re-creating Christmas celebrations from the Civil War, the time of Jane Austen, and the Victorian age. Tours are given by candlelight and visitors can meet characters from the past preparing for the holidays, according to an announcement from the park.
The tours take place from 4:45 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the following dates:

- Saturday, Dec. 14 – Civil War Christmas
- Sunday, Dec. 15 – Christmas in the Time of Jane Austen
- Saturday, Dec. 21 – Victorian Christmas
Prepaid reservations are required and space is limited. Tickets are $10. For information call 703-437-1794. Sign up online.
