Roeder: Romney Doesn't Care About the Poor

I was shocked, though not surprised, when Romney expressed no interest in the poor Wednesday on CNN. 

In fact, he repeated his point twice. I heard it live, and this shows again how out of touch the Republican party is with reality. He went on to say that the poor have a sufficient safety net and that his priority is "about Americans."   

When politicians are found in an "off" moment, they bear their inner soul.  This was truly awful stuff which shows how out of touch the Republican Party is.  Right here in Loudoun we have poor people! 

Why are they less American than anyone else?  And where did he get the idea they are totally protected?   I will say one thing, thank God Obama led the reform of health care.  Good for the economy.  Good for the middle class and for anyone without health care.
