Welcome to Chantilly Patch!

Daily updates on local news and events.

Hi Chantilly, welcome to Patch. I'm Lisa Brown, your local editor. Patch is a network of local community news sites providing coverage to towns across America. Patch has placed me here to bring you the news that only matters to the people that live and work in Chantilly.  You'll find me, and my team of writers and photographers, around town covering breaking news, meetings, events and high school sports.

I'm originally from Warrenton, Virginia, and I received a master's degree in journalism from West Virginia University.  I also spent time working at various magazines and websites in New York City.  I only recently moved to Chantilly, but it's so nice to be back home in Northern Virginia.

I carry my office with me everywhere I go so that I can deliver the news at a moment's notice.  You'll probably see me working around town at Starbucks or the library.  Please feel free to stop and say hi.  I would love to meet you.

I'll have daily news coverage here on Chantilly.Patch.com, as well as on Twitter and Facebook, just search for Chantilly Patch.

If you have a news tip, a story idea or just want to let me know how I'm doing please feel free to send me a facebook message, a tweet or an e-mail to lisa.brown@patch.com
