Chantilly Woman Charged for Alleged Assault of Police Officer

A Chantilly woman was charged this weekend for assaulting a police officer after she was taken into custody for allegedly acting drunk and disorderly, according to Fairfax County Police.

Police say they were called to a restaurant at Sully Place Shopping Center in the 13900 block of Metrotech Drive Saturday at 2:02 a.m. 

Police were called to a local restaurant for an individual acting drunk and disorderly. Police located the suspect and took her into custody.

While at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, the suspect allegedly assaulted an officer several times. Melody M. Bailey, 45, of Chantilly was charged with assault on police and drunk in public, according to police.

When in the heck did the bartender decide to cut her off? Sounds to me like he was a little late.

Why do you automatically blame the bartender? How do you know he served her that much...that she was there all night...or that he could tell she was wasted? Blame her for not knowing her limits. Put the blame where it should be and stop playing the blame game! Smh
