Crack Pipe and K-2 Found on Chantilly Man

The 24-year-old was arrested in Manassas after a traffic stop.

Christopher Lee Rice, of Chantilly, is facing drug charges after his Dodge Neon was pulled over in the 9400 block of Taney Road on Dec. 29, 2011 at approximately 3:15 p.m. by a Manassas City Police Officer.

Rice, 24, allegedly discarded what appeared to be crack cocaine and then attempted to flee from the police. After apprehending and searching Rice, officers discovered a crack cocaine pipe and a plastic bag of synthetic marijuana, also known as "K-2."Β

Rice originally told the officer that his name was Preston Daniels, resulting in being charged with False Identification to Law Enforcement. He was also charged with Obstruction of Justice, Possession of a Schedule I or II Narcotic and Possession of Synthetic Cannabinoids.Β 

In addition to the previous charges, Rice was also served with an outstanding warrant from Fairfax County and issued a traffic summons for illegal window tinting.

He is being held at the Prince William County Adult Detention Center, with no bond. His court date is set for March 13, 2012.
