Dulles South Station Police Report: 16-Year-Old Boy Assaulted in Leesburg

A summary of incidents reported for Dec. 1-7.

 

There was one assault, one burglary, one grand larceny, one larceny, one recovered stolen auto and one incident of unlawful entry included in the Dulles South Station Daily Crime Reports for the week ending on Dec. 7.  

Assault

  • On Monday, Dec. 5, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office received information of a possible assault of a 16-year-old male that occurred the previous day. The juvenile told deputies that he met up with some friends who asked him to go for a walk in the area of the 20900 block of Courtland Village around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4. As they approached the location the victim was assaulted by two unknown adult White males. The subjects assaulted him and then fled the scene in an unknown vehicle. The victim received minor injuries during the assault.  

Burglary 

  • Between 4 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2 and 8 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 5, unknown subject(s) damaged a rear door to a landscaping company on the 24100 block of Gum Spring Road. Nothing was reported missing.  

Grand Larceny

  • A resident of the 40600 block of Newton Place reported jewelry was taken from their home between midnight on Tuesday, Nov. 1 and 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4.  

Larceny 

  • A South Riding resident reported a wallet was taken from their purse between 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2 in the area of the 25000 block of Riding Plaza. The victim later learned their credit card was used at stores in the Aldie area. Case pending. [Author’s Note: The Loudoun County Office of the Sheriff also listed this incident in the category of Credit Card Fraud.

Recovered Stolen Auto 

  • A 2004 Jaguar reported stolen out of Fairfax County was recovered in the area of the 26300 block of Gum Spring Road at 3:51 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1. 

Unlawful Entry 

  • Around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3, a resident of the 43200 block of Maple Cross Street heard someone open a door and walk around the home. They went to investigate and discovered an unknown male in his late teens in their home. The subject stated he was in the wrong house and walked out.
