Dulles South Station Police Report: Break-In at Community Pool, Garage Burglaries Continue

A summary of incidents reported for June 23-29.

There was one burglary, two destruction of property incidents and one suspicious event included in the Dulles South Station Daily Crime Reports for the week ending on June 29. 

Burglary 

  • A resident of the 26000 block of Sarazen drive was awakened by a noise in their home around 1 a.m. on Monday, June 27. The house was searched and a rear window was found open. Nothing was reported missing.

Destruction of Property 

  • Unknown subject(s) damaged the tire of a vehicle near Loudoun County Parkway and Hamilton Chapel Terrace between 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 23 and 10:43 a.m. on Friday, June 24. 
  • Unknown subject(s) entered a community pool on the 43600 block of Lucketts Bridge Circle after hours between 1:22 a.m. and 1:49 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29. A lock was damaged to gain entry. [Author’s Note: The Loudoun County Office of the Sheriff also listed this incident in the category of Trespassing.]

Suspicious Event 

  • A resident of the 42000 block of Pepperbush Place reported hearing their garage door open at 2:59 a.m. on Tuesday, June 28. They went to investigate and turned on their exterior lights. They discovered their garage door was partially open. It appears unknown subject(s) entered an unsecured vehicle in the driveway and rummaged through the interior. Nothing was reported missing.
