Dulles South Station Police Report: Motorcycle Crash, Bottle-Throwing Juveniles

A summary of incidents reported for June 2-8.

There was one destruction of property incident, five larcenies, one motorcycle crash and one suspicious event included in the Dulles South Station Daily Crime Reports for the week ending on June 8.  

Destruction of Property

  • Unknown subject(s) damaged the windshield of a vehicle on the 43000 block of Peacock Market Plaza between 3:10 a.m. and 3:20 a.m. on Monday, June 6. 

Larceny

  • Unknown subject(s) removed a bicycle, a television, a GPS and tools from an unsecured vehicle on the 43000 block of Peacock Market Plaza between 9 p.m. on Friday, June 3 and 1 a.m. on Saturday, June 4. 
  • Deputies responded to the 25400 block of Newcastle Drive for a report of juveniles throwing bottles between 2:18 a.m. and 2:25 a.m. on Sunday, June 5. Several juveniles were located between the ages of 15 and 17. A resident later reported alcohol had been removed from their open garage. The complainant declined to press charges.   • Unknown subject(s) entered a vehicle on the 25300 block of Pleasant Valley Road and removed a computer and a spare tire between 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 4 and 9 a.m. on Sunday, June 5. 
  • Unknown subject(s) removed an air conditioning unit from a construction site on the 42500 block of Muirwood Court between 6 p.m. on Friday, June 3 and 7 a.m. on Monday, June 6. 
  • Unknown subject(s) removed vinyl siding, an air conditioning unit, and other items from a construction site on the 23200 block of Virginia Rae Court between 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 4 and 8 a.m. on Monday, June 6.  

Motorcycle Crash 

  • Deputies investigated a single vehicle motorcycle crash on the 20100 block of Gleedsville Road at 9:29 p.m. on Sunday, June 5. The rider was airlifted to Inova Fairfax Hospital with what was reported to be non-life-threatening injuries.  

Suspicious Event

  • A resident of the 21900 block of Watson Road reported that several juveniles threw unknown bottles on the front porch of their residence around 3 a.m. on Wednesday, June 8. Lawn furniture and other items were strewn around the front porch. The bottles were deemed to be empty.
