Dulles South Station Police Report: Oakton Teen Charged with Aggravated Malicious Wounding Following Chantilly Assault

A summary of incidents reported for Feb. 5-11.

There was one assault and two larcenies included in the Dulles South Station Daily Crime Reports for the week ending on Feb. 11. 

Assault

  • Just after midnight on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011, a 21-year-old male stepped out of his residence on the 26100 block of Springdale Drive in the Chantilly area. As the victim exited his residence he was confronted by two males. . The suspects fled the area after the assault. The victim received serious but non-life-threatening injuries. During the course of the investigation it was determined the incident was possibly retaliatory in nature between the suspects and the victim. On Friday, Feb. 3, Erick J. Cox, 18, of Oakton, was charged with aggravated malicious wounding and robbery. Cox was being held on no bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center. Further arrests are possible. Larcenies

  • Between 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 1 and 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7, unknown subject(s) entered a work van near the intersection of Overly Square and Kirkwood Square and removed various tools. A lock was damaged to gain entry. 
  • Between 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 9 and 8 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 10, unknown subject(s) removed concrete forms from a construction site on the 43500 block of Wheadon Terrace.
