Dulles South Station Police Report: Tire Slashings Abound in Aldie and South Riding

A summary of incidents reported for Sept. 22-28.

There were five destruction of property incidents, four larcenies and four incidents of vehicle tampering included in the Dulles South Station Daily Crime Reports for the week ending on Sept. 28.  

Destruction of Property 

  • Between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 22, unknown subject(s) damaged the turf on a green at the South Riding Golf Club on the 43200 block of Golf View Drive.
  • Unknown subject(s) placed caulk on an exterior wall of a home on the 25400 block of Newcastle Drive between 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25 and 7 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 26.
  • The tires of three vehicles parked on the 26000 block of Flintonbridge Drive were damaged between midnight on Sunday, Sept. 25 and midnight on Monday, Sept. 26. All three vehicles were parked in the roadway.
  • Unknown subject(s) damaged the rear window of a vehicle on the 25500 block of Cedar Hollow Drive between 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25 and 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 26. 
  • Several windows of a home on the 42400 block of Leesylvania Court were damaged between 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 26 and 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 27.  

Larcenies

  • Between 9:45 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 22 and 7 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 23, unknown subject(s) entered a vehicle on the 25500 block of Cedar Hollow Drive and removed cash from a purse.
  • Sometime between midnight on Tuesday, March 15 and 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25, unknown subject(s) removed an air compressor and truck batteries from a storage lot in the area of John Mosby Highway and Amethyst Lane. 
  • Unknown subject(s) entered three unlocked vehicles parked in a driveway on the 43300 block of Burke Dale Street between 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25 and 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 26. A GPS unit, a portable video game system and games, and two cameras were stolen. 
  • Between 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 15 and 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 27, unknown subject(s) removed a canoe and a kayak from the backyard of a residence on the 40800 block of Manor House Road.  

Vehicle Tampering 

  • Unknown subject(s) damaged the tires on a vehicle on the 43600 block of Kenai Court between 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25 and 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 26.
  • Unknown subject(s) damaged the tires on a vehicle on the 26200 block of Ocala Circle between 11 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25 and 7 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 26. 
  • Unknown subject(s) damaged the tires on a vehicle on the 26100 block of Ocala Circle between 10 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25 and 8 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 26. 
  • Unknown subject(s) damaged the tires on two vehicles on the 41900 block of Visionary Court between 8 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25 and 1:30 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 26.
