Dulles South Station Police Report: Vehicle Tampering on Hickory Ridge Place

A summary of incidents reported for March 18-31.

There was one burglary, two destruction of property incidents, two larcenies, one domestic dispute and two vehicle incidents included in the Dulles South Station Daily Crime Reports for March 18-31. 

Burglary

  • Between 12:01 a.m. on Thursday, March 29 and 11:59 p.m. on Friday, March 30, a resident of the 24500 block of Lenah Road reported that unknown subject(s) entered their home. Shoes and prescription medication were missing.  

Destruction of Property

  • Between 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 17 and 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 18, unknown subject(s) painted vulgar words on a vehicle on the 25500 block of Dapper Court. CDs were removed from the vehicle and scattered in the area. A home was found to have similar vandalism. 
  • Between 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 29 and 8:30 a.m. on Friday, March 30, unknown subject(s) damaged the passenger side window, mirrors and two tires on a vehicle near the intersection of Lenah Run Circle and Glen Meadow Place. 

Larcenies 

  • Between 2 p.m. on Monday, March 26 and 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 29, unknown subject(s) removed molding from a home under construction on the 42200 block of Wythridge Court. 
  • Between 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 29, unknown subject(s) removed a scooter from the front yard of a residence on the 25200 block of Talent Street. 

Vehicle Tampering

  • Between 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 25 and 9 a.m. on Monday, March 26, unknown subject(s) rummaged through a vehicle on the 40400 block of Hickory Ridge Place. Nothing was reported missing.

Domestic Dispute 

  • At 4:40 p.m. on Friday, March 23, deputies responded to the area of Watson Road and Red Hill Road for a report of a suspect who went to a residence in violation of a protection order. The suspect had left the scene and was involved in a hit and run crash in the area of the Route 50 and Route 15 roundabout. The suspect later crashed his vehicle again in the area of Watson Road and Red Hill Road. The suspect then attempted to flee on foot. A 51-year-old Aldie man was charged with DUI, two counts of hit and run, and violation of a protective order. He remains held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center. Missile at a Vehicle

  • At 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 21, a motorist was traveling on Route 50 westbound near Lenah Road when a rock struck the windshield of their vehicle. The driver was not injured.
