Fair Oaks District Police Report: 32 Chickens Killed, 46 Missing from Fairfax Coop

For the week ending on Aug. 24, there were no major incidents, six larcenies, one vehicle theft and one animal control incident included in the Fair Oaks District Activity Report. 

Larcenies 

• 13000 block of Cobble Lane: iPod and stereo system stolen from vehicle
• 13500 block of Davinci Lane: License plate stolen from vehicle
• 4300 block of Majestic Lane: Cash stolen from vehicle
• 13900 block of Mansarde Avenue: License plate stolen from vehicle
• 4000 block of Spring Pond Place: Cell phone stolen from residence
• 13400 block of Sunrise Valley Drive: Diamond bracelet stolen from business 

Vehicle Theft 

• 3000 block of Winter Pine Court: Honda Civic 

Animal Control Incident 

• *ANIMAL DEATHS: Animal Control Officers are investigating a situation involving 32 chickens that were killed and another 46 that are missing from a coop located in the 5200 block of Winfield Road. Officers, who responded to the scene around 8 a.m. on Thursday, August 18, are not clear on the source of the attack. Read the .
