Fair Oaks District Police Report: Children Catch Man Urinating in Public on River Birch Road

A summary of incidents reported for March 1-7.

For the week ending on March 7, there were three major incidents, five larcenies and one vehicle theft included in the Fair Oaks District Activity Report.

Major Incidents 

  • ASSAULT: At 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, the victim blew his car horn when another vehicle swerved into his lane near the intersection of Frying Pan Road and Sunrise Valley Drive. The other driver, Lamont Keith Hall, 39, of Gainesville, allegedly forced the victim to stop. Both exited their vehicles and Hall reportedly hit the victim one time causing injury.  
  • INDECENT EXPOSURE: At 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7, officers were called to the 2400 block of River Birch Road when several children reported seeing a man urinating in public. The case is still under investigation. 
  • PEDESTRIAN STRUCK: A teenager was crossing the street on the 4200 block of Stringfellow Road, apparently not in a crosswalk, at 2:25 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7. He was struck by a vehicle and received serious injuries.

  • 13500 block of Davinci Lane: Computer tablet/iPad stolen from residence
  • 13600 block of Mclearen Road: Cell phone stolen from school
  • 5300 block of Tractor Lane: Painting stolen from residence
  • 4600 block of West Ox Road: Jumper cables stolen from vehicle
  • 4700 block of West Ox Road: Televisions stolen from business 

Vehicle Theft 

  • 4700 block of Warm Hearth Circle: Plymouth Voyager
