Fair Oaks District Police Report: Motorcyclist Killed in Lee Highway Crash

For the week ending on August 17, there was one major incident, 11 larcenies and one vehicle theft included in the Fair Oaks District Activity Report. 

Major Incident

• *FATAL CRASH: Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in the early morning hours of Sunday, August 14. Fred Timothy Hall, 53, of Fairfax was pronounced dead at the accident scene on Lee Highway after being ejected from his motorcycle. The speed of the motorcycle appears to be a factor in the crash. • 2900 block of Chain Bridge Road: Beer stolen from business
• 11700 block of Fair Oaks Shopping Center: Prescription medication stolen from business
• 12000 block of Fair Oaks Shopping Center: Vacuum cleaner stolen from business
• 13300 block of Franklin Farm Road: Liquor stolen from business
• 12300 block of Lee Jackson Memorial Highway: Tools stolen from residence
• 4000 block of Majestic Lane: Medicine and sunglasses stolen from business
• 4000 block of Majestic Lane: Medicine and sunglasses stolen from business
• 13900 block of Mansarde Avenue: iPhone stolen from business
• 13200 block of Maple Mountain Drive: Jewelry stolen from residence
• 4300 block of Moylan Lane: American flag stolen from residence
