Fair Oaks District Police Report: Multiple Burglaries

A summary of incidents reported for April 26-May 2.

For the week ending on May 2, there were three major incidents, three larcenies, one vehicle theft and one animal control incident included in the Fair Oaks District Activity Report.

Major Incidents 

  • ROBBERY: At 8:20 p.m. on Friday, April 27, the victim reported two men demanded master keys to the building on the 3900 block of Fair Ridge Drive. When she said no, one of them struck her. They fled with the keys and her cell phone. She was treated for minor injuries. 
  • BURGLARY: At 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, the homeowner reported someone entered the home on the 2300 block of Concert Court and stole a purse and wallet off the counter. Forced entry was possibly made through the garage door.  
  • BURGLARY: At 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, the homeowner reported her purse and laptop computer were stolen from the counter in the home on the 3300 block of Bywater Court. Entry was possibly made through the patio door.

  • 4500 block of Market Commons Drive: Wallet stolen from business
  • 13000 block of Fair Lakes Shopping Center: Perfume stolen from business

Vehicle Theft

  • 11900 block of Grand Commons Avenue: Ford Escape 

Animal Control

  • ANIMAL BITE: At 1:52 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1, the victim was walking down a sidewalk on the 2500 block of Glengyle Drive and encountered a dog walker walking a Great Dane. The dog jumped up and bit the victim who was eventually transported to a local hospital for a minor injury. The dog was quarantined and the owner contacted. The owner was charged with having an unlicensed dog.
