Fair Oaks District Weekly Police Report

A summary of incidents reported for Feb. 3-9

For the week ending on Feb. 9, there were two major incidents, seven larcenies and one vehicle theft in the Fair Oaks District. 

Major crimes:

  • BURGLARY WITH THE INTENT TO COMMIT ASSAULT/ASSAULT/DRUNK IN PUBLIC/MISDEMEANOR DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY/ARREST: Police arrested a man for breaking into an acquaintance’s home in the 12900 block of Grays Point Road just after midnight on Saturday, Feb. 5. The suspect allegedly assaulted a 17-year-old girl and caused damage to the inside of the home. Gustavo A. Delcid, 28, of 12877 Fair Briar Lane in Fairfax, was taken to jail and charged with burglary with the intent to commit assault, assault, drunk in public and misdemeanor destruction of property.
  • MALICIOUS WOUNDING/ARREST: Police arrested a 42-year-old woman for cutting an acquaintance, a 72-year-old woman, with a knife in a home in the 13600 block of Old Chatwood Place on Tuesday, Feb. 8 around 7:32 p.m. Xueqing Sun, of 13606 Old Chatwood Place in Chantilly, was taken to jail and charged with malicious wounding.

  • Fair Lakes Shopping Center: Laptop computer stolen from business
  • Fair Oaks Shopping Center: Cell phone stolen from business
  • Hunt Club Circle Computer: stolen from residence
  • James Madison Drive: Purse stolen from vehicle
  • Lee Jackson Memorial Highway: Cash stolen from business
  • Metrotech Drive: Laptop computer stolen from business
  • Rock Spray Court: Ring stolen from residence

Vehicle Thefts:

  • Fair Stone Drive: 2005 Chevrolet Colorado
