To help victims of domestic violence, Fairfax County Police Department's Victim Services Section created the Annual K-9 Krawl 5K, which took place at the Fairfax County Government Center Saturday, Oct. 13.
It was the sixth year for the event, and about 200 people and more than 200 pets participated, said Officers Kacey Kirkland and Lucy Caldwell. The attendance is the most they've received since the event was created and it continues to grow each year.
