Police: Man Accidentally Shot Friend

Christopher E. Bohn, 36, of Manassas, was charged with willfully discharging firearms in a public place.

A Manassas man was arrested on Saturday for accidentally shooting a friend while reloading his gun, Fairfax County Police said Monday. 

Christopher E. Bohn, 36, was charged with willfully discharging firearms in a public place. Police said he was at a restaurant with the victim, 22, and her friends, when he reloaded his gun. While doing so, he accidentally fired, striking the victim near her ankle. 

Officers responded to 14441 Brookfield Tower Dr. in Chantilly around 5:30 p.m. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said. No one else was injured.
