Police: Reston Man Driving Backwards Faces Multiple Charges

Man was charged with his fourth DWI while driving on suspended license, police say.

Fairfax County Police say a Reston man faces multiple charges after they found him Monday driving his car backwards down a Fairfax road.

A police officer stopped Marc Anthony Dixon, 26, of Reston who was driving backwards on Rugby Road Monday at 2:40 p.m.

While being arrested, the suspect provided false information as well as kicked the door and window of the police vehicle he was in, according to police.

Dixon was charged with DWI (fourth offense), refusing breath test, fraudulent information to police, destruction of county property, driving while suspended (DWI related) and improper backing on the highway.
