Police: Suspect in Brother's Homicide Dead

Two brothers now dead after fight Tuesday on Travers Court in Chantilly.

The man who detectives determined likely killed his brother by stabbing him Tuesday in an altercation at their home in Chantilly died Thursday, according to a news release from Fairfax County Police.

The suspect in the homicide, Mohammad H. Raza, 20, of Chantilly, was pronounced dead Thursday at noon, according to police. The incident took place Tuesday at a home that serves as a daycare on Travers Court off of Walney Road in Chantilly. No children were hurt.

Mohammad and Haseeb Raza, 24, who died Tuesday, were brothers. No word from police on what led to the incident that involved stabbing and a self-inflicted gunshot by Mohammad, according to police.

The third victim, 61, continues to recover from his injuries.
