Sully District Weekly Police Report

A summary of incidents reported for March 31-April 6.

For the week ending on April 6, there were two major incidents, five larcenies and one vehicle theft reported in the Sully District.

Major Incidents:

  • ROBBERY: Two 18-year-old men were robbed at gunpoint while walking in the area of Roamer Lane and Rock Canyon Drive around 12:20 a.m. on Tuesday, April 5. The suspect was described as black, between 18 and 24 years old, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 185 pounds, wearing a puffy, black jacket, blue jeans and a black and white bandana. The victims were not injured.
  • ARSON OF AN OCCUPIED DWELLING/HIT AND RUN/SIMPLE ASSAULT ON A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER/DISREGARDING POLICE COMMANDS TO STOP/MALICIOUS WOUNDING/DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY/DRIVING WHILE IMPAIRED/ARREST: Police apprehended a 28-year-old Centreville area man, believed to have been driving under the influence of drugs, after a spree of incidents that began around 1 a.m. on Tuesday, April 5.  More information can be found here: http://patch.com/A-gyg2

  • Airline Parkway/Braniff Circle: Utility trailer stolen from residence
  • Hovingham Court: Tools stolen from vehicle
  • Little Rocky Run Circle/Forest Pond Court: Tools stolen from vehicle
  • Old Centreville Road/Franklin Fox Drive: Tools stolen from vehicle
  • Wood Creek Lane: License plate stolen from vehicle

Vehicle Thefts:

  • Virginia Dare Court: 2000 Kia Sephia
