Teacher Accused of Sending Sexually Explicit Texts to Student

A Chantilly man who teaches at a private Catholic school in Manassas has been charged with attempting to engage in an inappropriate relationship with a 15-year-old student.

A teacher has been charged with attempting to carry on an inappropriate relationship with a student, according to Manassas City Police.

Zachary Jude See, 23, of 4605 Fillingame Dr. in Chantilly, was arrested April 2 and charged with one count of attempting to engage in indecent liberties with a minor.

Parents of the 15-year-old victim met with investigators on March 27, regarding possible inappropriate activity between their child and the child's teacher at Seton School in Old Town Manassas, according to Sgt. Eddie Rivera with the .

The next day a search warrant was executed by Manassas City Police, the Northern Virginia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force andΒ the Fairfax County Police at See's residence in Chantilly. According to the warrant, the teacher sent sexually explicit texts to the student.

See was released on a $2,500 secured bond. His court date is July 18, 2012.
