Chantilly Regional Library Hours Change Soon
All Fairfax County Public Library branches will operate under modified schedules next month.
Starting Sept. 8, all Fairfax County Public Library (FCPL) branches will operate under new schedules.
Library branches will be open more hours due to in the FY2013 budget.
“We are pleased that we can restore many of the open hours lost during the economic downturn. Our library services are important to county residents and now they are much more accessible,” said Edwin S. Clay III, director of Fairfax County Public Library in an announcement.

Regional library branches, such as the , will be open as follows next month:
- Monday through Thursday: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Friday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Saturday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Sunday: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
All community branches will also modify their schedules in September. The new schedule at community branches will be:

- Monday and Tuesday: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Wednesday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Thursday: 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Friday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Saturday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Community branches will be closed on Sundays.
