Loudoun's General Assembly Delegation Invites Residents to Town Hall Meeting Saturday

Loudoun residents are invited to speak about their issues and concerns before the 2014 General Assembly session begins.

As legislators prepare to head to Richmond for this year’s session of the Virginia General Assembly, the delegation to Loudoun has planned a Pre-Session Town Hall Meeting this weekend to learn more about residents issues and concerns.

The meeting begins at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, at the Rust Library, 380 Old Waterford Road, in Leesburg.

All Loudoun residents are invited to attend.

To help coordinators make sure everyone who wishes to present their thoughts has that opportunity, participants are encouraged to sign up in advance by sending an email to Carol Sinclair at csinclair@house.virginia.gov or calling 703-437-9400. However, advance signup is not required. Comments will be limited to three minutes per person.

The 2014 Session of the Virginia General Assembly begins Jan. 8 and will last 60 days.
