The weekly got the news from VBA Executive Director Yvonne McGhee, who reported that PBS will carry the live stream, a first for the event.

The debate, moderated by PBS' Judy Woodruff, will take place Saturday, July 20, beginning at 11 a.m. The debate is part of the VBA's 123d summer meeting.

The candidates will also meet in a debate on Sept. 25 in McLean, hosted by the Fairfax Chamber and NBC 4.
