Primary Results: Black, Ramadan Win GOP Nominations

Focus of voters and candidates now turns to general election in November.

Dick Black and David Ramadan have won their respective primaries and will face Democratic opponents in the 13th Senate and 87th House elections in November. Elections for the General Assembly seats as well as local supervisors, school board members and constitutional officers will be held Nov. 8.

87th House District
David Ramadan – 1,363 (55.70 percent)
Jo Ann Chase – 1,084 (44.29 percent)

13th Senate District
Dick Black – 3,142 (38.81 percent)
John Stirrup – 3,029 (37.42 percent)
Bob FitzSimmons – 1,923 (23.75 percent)
