PHOTOS: Dulles Airport Annual Tree Trimming Celebration

Students from J. Michael Lunsford Middle School and the interns at Washington Dulles International Airport trim trees to decorate the entrances to security at Dulles Airport.

Before passengers descend to the security check point, they will experience a little holiday cheer compliments of schools like J. Michael Lunsford.  The school sent a group of students to participate in the 5th Annual Tree Trimming at Dulles Aiport on Tuesday morning. The theme this year was "Celebrate the Holidays on Candy Cane Lane."

In addition to school groups, the Chantilly Interns also decorated a tree.  These post-high school young adults work as interns in different departments throughout the airport, and they took time out of their busy day to celebrate the season.
