"They Flew Proud" Book Signing - Udvar-Hazy Center Smithsonian
Jane Gardner Birch, author of They Flew Proud will be in the Boeing Aviation Hangar to answer questions and sign copies of her book.
They Flew Proud is the history of the small town and airport training of cadets and civilians during World War II. This book won the 2007 Combs Gates Award for promoting or preserving America's air and space heritage.
Copies of They Flew Proud will be available for purchase. This event is free. Parking is $15.
