FCPS Begins Chantilly Principal Search

Parents and teachers are being asked for their input with selecting candidates.

Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) is searching for a at and asking for the community's help.

Chantilly High's PTSA President, Tina Wallace, said in an email that FCPS will select a nine-member panel consisting of three parents, three staff members, one high school student, the Cluster Director and the sitting principal.  The panel will then interview the candidates on Aug. 26 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Several candidates have already applied for the position, and ultimately there will be five to nine candidates selected to be interviewed. The top three candidates will be reviewed by the school board and then presented to the superintendant, Dr. Jack Dale.
