FCPS Hosting Two Job Fairs

School system seeks educators for 2013-2014 school year.

Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS), the largest school system in Virginia, is searching for educators with a strong academic background and a passion to make a difference in the lives of students during the 2013-14 school year. To meet growing critical field areas—especially in special education, math, and science—principals will interview candidates at secondary school and elementary school instructional job fairs on Saturday, Feb. 23, (snow date Saturday, March 2) and Saturday, March 16, (snow date Saturday, March 23) respectively. Specialty area instructors with K-12 endorsements may be interviewed at either event.

Instructional candidates interested in becoming a part of a dynamic and diverse community that offers a challenging academic program for all students are encouraged to apply online. Instructional positions include teachers, counselors, librarians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and speech pathologists.

Job fair interviews are by invitation only. Candidates interested in the job fairs should apply online by Jan. 31 for the secondary fair and by Feb. 28 for the elementary fair.
