Girls' Softball Clinics Extended

Clinics in February and March designed to improve skills for spring season.

The SYA Girls fastpitch softball coaching staff has announced that due to the success of it’s January clinic, they are adding two more winter clinics for February and March. Clinics are designed for girls ages 7-18 who are either new to fastpitch softball or want to improve their game for spring season and high school tryouts.

“We are excited about our new winter training facility in Manassas,” says Susan Starr SYA’s clinic coordinator. “We have secured a 10,000-square foot training facility with three indoor batting cages and enough room for an indoor playing field. Our entire coaching staff is involved and we have designed drills and practice play for all levels of players.”

The winter clinics are open to all interested girls, whether they play for SYA or another area league. “Our goal is to promote skill development and promote softball,” says Starr. “We are offering easy online registration and a minimal fee to cover the cost of the facility. Our coaches are volunteering their time in the spirit of the SYA community.”
