"Why would a church do something like this?  We get that question a lot," Brett Andrews, founder and lead minister of New Life Christian Church said in a press release.

"The answer is this: we exist to serve others. So, we invested in a building that would serve our community’s needs and be busy seven days a week," said Andrews.

"So, at the nZone, you’ll find everything you would expect at a recreation and sports facility – soccer, lacrosse, basketball and volleyball league play, fitness classes and boot camps, Karate, sports clinics, dance classes, athlete training – but you’ll also find tutoring sessions for students, support for struggling marriages and a safe place for youth to hang out after school.”

The is free to the public and will take place on Jan. 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Every adult that attends will receive a free one-month membership to the fitness center.

The celebration will include:

  • Demonstrations
  • Open play on turf fields and basketball courts
  • Free food
