The undefeated Westfield Bulldogs defeated the Chantilly Chargers 34-27 on Friday night. Westfield faces Oakton in the AAA Concorde game next week.
"We're not putting our stuff away, and we'll be practicing on Thanksgiving," said Westfield head coach Kyle Simmons to his team after the game. "You all are the best team that I have ever coached."
Westfield took an early lead in the first quarter and scored consistently throughout the game, taking a lead that even 20 unanswered fourth quarter points by Chantilly could not overcome.
