Local Auto Repair Shop Kicks Off Holiday with Toy and Blood Drive
Head to G&C Tire and Auto this Friday to donate blood or toys.
Gregg Caldwell, owner of , has always kicked off the holiday season with a Blood Drive and Toys for Tots drive. This year is no different.
On Friday, Dec. 2, the auto repair shop will host Inova Blood Donor Services in the parking lot of its auto repair facility. According to Caldwell, “Giving blood is so important. It saves newborn lives, offers transfusions to those who have surgery and aids victims of natural disasters.”

G&C has been able to attract over 30 donors every time it has had its blood drives. “This year, we would like to have 40 participants,” says Caldwell.
In addition, the community can drop off donations for the Marines Toys for Tots Program. Collection dates will be Dec. 2–21, 2011 at its Chantilly and Manassas stores.

Participants in either the Blood Drive or Toys for Tots will receive a special gift from G&C.
